Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the new LED blinker, make sure that the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the engine is switched off. Wear suitable protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses.

Step 2: Provide tools

Provide all the required tools. This includes a screwdriver, a socket set, cable cutter and possibly a soldering iron if you have to connect the cables.

Step 3: Remove old indicators

Start removing the old indicators. Loosen the screws that hold the indicators and carefully pull off the cables. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 4: Install new turn signals

Take the new LED blinker to hand and connect the cables according to the color marking. Attach the turn signals with the screws you have previously removed.

Step 5: Connect resistance

In order to correctly adjust the flashing frequency, the supplied resistors must be connected. Place them near the flashing cables and connect them safely, either by soldering or with suitable connectors.

Step 6: Perform the function test

Start the motorcycle and test the new turn signals to ensure that you work properly. Check the flashing frequency and make sure that all indicators shine.

FAQ 1: Can I also use the LED indicators on other motorcycles?

The LED blinkers are specially designed for the Honda CBR 900RR models. However, they can also be used on other motorcycles, provided that they are compatible with the same connecting dimensions and tensions.

FAQ 2: What to do if the indicators don't work?

If the turn signals do not work, first check the cable connections and make sure that the resistors are correctly connected. It can also be helpful to check the motorcycle backup.
