Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, make sure you have all the required tools and materials ready: a screwdriver, a soldering iron, shrink tubes and the new turn signals with resistances.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Switch off the ignition and remove the old turn signals. Loosen the screws that attach the turn signal housing to the bracket and separate the electrical connections.

Step 3: Mount resistance

Install the supplied resistances to ensure a correct function of the LED indicators. Connect the resistances according to the instructions and use shrink hoses to isolate the connections.

Step 4: Install new turn signals

Use the new LED blinkers in the same place as the old ones. Attach the turn signals with the screws and connect the electrical connections. Make sure that polarity is correct.

Step 5: Test the indicators

Turn on the ignition and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash correctly and have the right speed. If necessary, check the connections and resistance.

Step 6: Care of the indicators

To extend the lifespan of your LED indicators, clean them regularly with a soft cloth and avoid aggressive cleaning agents. Check the electrical connections for corrosion.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers have a long lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, depending on the use and care.

Are the resistance necessary?

Yes, the resistances are necessary to regulate the flashing speed and ensure the functionality of the LED blinkers.
