Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installation, make sure you have the right tools on hand: a screwdriver, a side cutter and possibly a soldering iron. Switch off the ignition of your motorcycle and remove the key.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Start removing the old indicators. Loosen the screws that attach the indicators and carefully pull them off. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 3: Install resistors

Install the supplied resistors. Connect the resistances to the cables that lead to the indicators. Make sure you observe the right polarity and, if necessary, use shrink tubes for a secure connection.

Step 4: mount new indicators

Mount the new LED indicators in the places previously removed. Attach them with the screws and pull them tight, but not too tight so as not to damage the housing.

Step 5: Check cabling

Check the cabling carefully. Make sure that all connections are tight and there are no cables loose. This is important to avoid short circuits.

Step 6: Perform the function test

Switch on the ignition of your motorcycle again and test the new indicators. Check whether you flash correctly and work the resistors. If everything is fine, you can attach the cover again.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers usually have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, which makes it very durable compared to conventional light bulbs.

Do I need special resistance for my indicators?

Yes, special resistors are necessary to ensure the correct flashing frequency and to avoid overload in the motorcycle electrical system.
