Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the new LED blinkers, make sure you have all the tools you need. This includes a screwdriver, pliers and the new indicators with resistances.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Switch off the motorcycle and separate the battery. Remove the old turn signals by loosening the screws and removing the cables. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 3: Install resistors

Install the supplied resistances near the turn signal cables. These prevent a quick flashing that occurs often with LED blinkers. Connect the resistances to the corresponding cables and insulate the connections well.

Step 4: mount new indicators

Mount the new LED blinkers in the intended areas. Make sure to align the indicators correctly and tighten the screws to prevent wobbling.

Step 5: function test

Connect the battery again and test the new turn signals. Check whether you work correctly and flash at the right speed. Also pay attention to the visibility of the indicators.

Step 6: Care instructions

To extend the lifespan of your new indicators, clean them regularly with a mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Avoid aggressive chemicals that could damage the surface.

LED blinkers usually have a longer lifespan than traditional light bulbs and can last up to 50,000 hours, depending on the quality of the components used.
