Step 1: Preparations
Before you start installation, make sure the motorcycle is turned off and the key is removed. Prepare all the required tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers and the new LED blinkers with resistances.
Step 2: Remove indicators
Start removing the old indicators from their triumph tiger. Loosen the screws that hold the indicators in their place and pull the plugs off.
Step 3: Connect resistance
Connect the supplied resistances to the new LED blinkers. Make sure to connect the cables correctly: positive cables on positive cables and negative cables to negative cables.
Step 4: Mount turn signals
Assemble the new LED blinkers at the point of the old indicators. Make sure you sit tight and the screws are well dressed.
Step 5: function test
Turn on the motorcycle and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash correctly and whether the resistors work properly.
Step 6: Care of the indicators
Clean the turn signals regularly to increase your lifespan. Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agent. Avoid aggressive chemicals.
Question 1: Why do I need resistance for LED blinkers?
LED blinkers have a lower power consumption than conventional incandescent lamps, which can lead to the flashing agent does not work properly. Resistance help to regulate the current flow and ensure correct flashing.
Question 2: How long do LED indicators last?
LED blinkers have a much longer service life compared to conventional turn signals. You can last up to 50,000 hours, depending on the use and the conditions.
