Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installation, make sure that you have all the necessary tools and materials on hand. This includes the new LED blinkers, resistances with e-test marks, screwdrivers, pliers and insulating tape.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Switch off the motorcycle and remove the spark plug plug. Loosen the screws that attach the old indicators and carefully pull off the cables.

Step 3: Install resistors

Connect the resistances to the cables of the new LED blinkers. Make sure to consider the polarity. Isolate the connections well with insulating tape to avoid short circuits.

Step 4: attach new indicators

Use the new LED blinkers into the intended brackets and secure them with the screws. Make sure you sit firmly and are properly aligned.

Step 5: carry out the function test

Switch on the motorcycle again and test the turn signals. Check whether both sides flash correctly and whether the speed is even.

Step 6: End control

Perform a last inspection to ensure that everything is installed correctly. Check all cable connections and make sure that there are no loose parts.

How often should the indicators be checked?

It is recommended to check the indicators before every long journey to ensure that they work properly.

What to do if the indicators don't work?

First check the cable connections and the resistances. If the problem continues to exist, it could be due to a defective blinkling.
