Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, make sure you have all the tools you need. This includes a wrench, a screwdriver, cable connector and possibly insulating tape.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

First switch off the ignition. Then remove the blinker cover and loosen the screws to dismantle the old indicators. Make sure you pull the cables carefully.

Step 3: Install resistors

Install the supplied resistances on the turn signal cables. These are necessary to ensure a correct flashing frequency. Connect the resistances according to the instructions.

Step 4: mount new indicators

Use the new LED blinkers into the brackets and secure them with the screws. Make sure you lay the cables properly to avoid damage while driving.

Step 5: carry out the function test

After the new turn signals are installed, switch on the ignition and test the function of the turn signals. Check whether both sides flash correctly and the frequency is normal.

Step 6: Care instructions

To extend the lifespan of your LED indicators, regularly clean them from dirt and insects. Use a mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Avoid aggressive chemicals.

How often should the indicators be checked?

It is recommended to check the indicators at least once a month, especially before long journeys.

Can I install the LED indicators myself?

Yes, the installation of the LED blinkers is easy and can usually be carried out without professional help as long as you have basic knowledge of the mechanics.
