Step 1: Preparation

Before you start assembling the handlebars, make sure that you have all the required tools ready. This includes a wrench, an Allen key and, if necessary, a cross slot screwdriver. You should also provide the new mirrors and the assembly instructions.

Step 2: Remove old mirrors

To remove the old mirrors, loosen the screws that you attach to the handlebar. Make sure that you do not lose the screws because you may have to reuse them for the new mirrors. Carefully remove the old mirrors from the handlebars.

Step 3: Mount new handlebars

Place the new handlebars on the places on the handlebar. Use the supplied screws to secure the mirrors safely. Make sure that the mirrors are properly aligned and sit firmly.

Step 4: adjustment the mirror

After the mirrors are mounted, set them so that you have an optimal view of the rear road users. This can be done by turning and tilting the mirrors. Make sure that the view is not blocked through your shoulders or the helmet.

Step 5: Safety test

Before the first trip, check whether the mirrors are firmly mounted and do not move. Drive briefly in a safe area and test the view of the mirror. Make sure you keep an eye on all road users.

Step 6: Care and maintenance

To extend the lifespan of your handlebars, clean them regularly with a mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Also check the fastenings regularly and if necessary.

How often should I clean my handlebars?

It is recommended to clean the handlebars at least once a month, especially if they drive frequently. In bad weather conditions, you should clean them more often.

Can I use the mirrors with every motorcycle type?

The handlebars are specially designed for the Suzuki GSX-S750, S950 and S1000 models. With other models, it may be necessary to use adapters or adapt the mirrors.
