Step 1: Preparation

Before you start assembling the handlebars, make sure you work in a well -lit area. Remove all objects and accessories from the handlebar that could hinder the installation.

Make sure you have the tools required. This includes an Allen key, a screwdriver and possibly a torque wrench. Also check whether the new mirrors are included.

Step 3: Remove old mirrors

Start removing the old mirrors. Loosen the screws with the Allen key and carefully pull off the mirrors. Make sure not to lose the screws, as you may need them again later.

Step 4: Mount handlebars

Take the new handlebars and insert them into the handlebars. Make sure the fastenings are tight, but do not overturn them so as not to damage the material. Use the screwdriver to secure the screws safely.

Step 5: Setting the mirror

After installing the mirror, you should set them according to your viewing position. Tilt the mirrors so that you have an optimal view of the traffic behind you. Test the settings before fixing the final position.

Step 6: Final review

Finally, check that all screws are tight and that the mirrors do not move when they drive. Perform a short test drive to ensure that everything is installed correctly.

How often should I set the mirrors?

It is recommended to set the mirrors after each major drive or after each change of the driver to ensure that they offer the best point of view.

Can I use the mirrors on other motorcycles?

The handlebars are specially designed for the Suzuki DR BIG 800S, 650s, 650, 750, 800 and 600 models. However, they can also be used on other motorcycles if the handlebar ends are compatible.
