Step 1: Make preparations

Before you start assembling the handlebars, make sure that you have all the necessary tools ready. This includes a wrench, an Allen key and possibly a Torx key. You should also put your Aprilia Tuono 660 on a stable surface.

Step 2: Unpack handlebar endowlies

Carefully open the packaging of the handlebars and check the content. Make sure that both mirrors and all the required assembly screws and parts are available and have no damage.

Step 3: Remove old mirrors

To remove the old mirrors, first loosen the screws you hold on the handlebar. Make sure to keep the screws in a safe place if you want to mount the old mirrors again later.

Step 4: Mount handlebars

Use the new handlebars into the intended openings on the handlebar. Make sure you are properly aligned. Pull the screws tight, but don't overturn it to avoid damage.

Step 5: Set the mirror

Set the mirrors so that you have a good view of the traffic behind them. This can require some attempts to find the optimal angle. Test the view from your driving position.

Step 6: final control

Finally, check whether the mirrors are tight and set correctly. Make a short test drive to ensure that you can use the mirrors well and that the view is optimal.
