Step 1: Preparation
Before you start installation, make sure that you have all the necessary tools and materials on hand. This includes the new LED speeds, resistances, screwdrivers, pliers and insulating tape.
Step 2: Remove old indicator
Switch off the ignition. Remove the cover of the old indicator and loosen the screws that hold the turn signal. Carefully pull off the cables.
Step 3: Connect resistance
Connect the resistances to the cables of the new LED speedsters. Make sure to consider the polarity. Isolate all connections with insulating tape to avoid short circuits.
Step 4: Install new turn signals
Use the new LED speeders in the place of the old turn signals. Attach them with the screws and make sure you sit tight.
Step 5: function test
Turn on the ignition and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash correctly and all connections are safe.
Step 6: Care
Clean the new turn signals regularly to avoid dirt and dust collections. Check the connections and the condition of the resistances every few months.
How often should I check the indicators?
It is recommended to check the indicators at least every three months to ensure that they work perfectly.
Can I install the indicators myself?
Yes, the installation of the turn signals can usually be carried out yourself if you have basic mechanical skills and the right tools.
