Step 1: Preparation

Make sure you have all the tools and materials required. This includes the new LED indicators, resistors, wrenches and possibly cable ties.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Switch off the ignition of your motorcycle and separate the battery. Remove the old turn signals by loosening the screws and removing the cables.

Step 3: attach new indicators

Place the new LED blinkers to the places provided and secure them with the screws. Make sure you sit tight.

Step 4: Install resistance

Install the resistances in parallel to the new indicators to adjust the flashing frequency. Connect the cables according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 5: Functional test

Connect the battery again and test the new turn signals. Make sure that you flash correctly and have the right frequency.

Step 6: Final review

Check all the connections and make sure that everything works properly. Perform a last inspection test to ensure that the indicators are securely installed.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers can last many years, often over 50,000 hours, depending on the quality and use.

Can I use LED indicators without resistances?

Without resistances, false flashing frequency can occur, which can affect security. Resistance are recommended to avoid this.
