Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, make sure that your motorcycle is on a stable surface and the engine is off. Wear suitable protective clothing.

Step 2: put together tools

You need a screwdriver, a soldering iron, solder, shrink hoses and possibly cable ties. Put everything ready to ensure a smooth process.

Step 3: Remove indicators

Carefully screw off the old turn signals and pull the cables off. Make sure not to lose the screws and washers because you need them again later.

Step 4: Connect resistance

Connect the new resistors to the LED blinkers. Make sure to consider the polarity. Use the soldering iron to make the connections secure and isolate the solder joints with shrink hoses.

Step 5: Mount turn signals

Assemble the LED indicators at the intended area and tighten the screws. Check that everything sits securely and that no cables are squeezed.

Step 6: Functional test

Turn on the ignition lock and test the turn signals to ensure that you work properly. Make sure that the flashing frequency is correct and the turn signals shine evenly.

Question 1: Do I need special tools for installation?

To install the LED blinkers, you need basic tools such as a screwdriver and a soldering iron. These are usually present in every toolbox.

Question 2: What to do if the indicators don't work?

Check the connections of the resistances and the polarity of the LED indicators. Make sure the cables are well insulated and have no interruptions.
