Step 1: Make preparations

Before you start installing the new LED blinkers, you should make sure that you have all the tools required such as screwdrivers, pliers and insulating tape. Also separate the battery of your motorcycle to avoid electrical damage.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Start removing the old indicators. Loosen the screws that hold the indicators in their place and carefully pull off the plugs. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 3: Mount new indicators

Place the new LED blinkers in the place of the old indicators. Attach them with the screws and connect the cables according to the color marking (mostly black for mass and another color for the signal).

Step 4: Install resistance

To ensure the correct function of the LED indicators, you must install the supplied resistors. These should be installed near the indicators and connected to the corresponding cables.

Step 5: carry out the function test

Before you assemble everything, you should carry out a functional test. Connect the battery again and check whether the indicators work correctly. Make sure that you flash quickly enough and do not flicker.

Step 6: Care and maintenance

Check regularly the function of your LED indicators and the connection of the resistances. Clean the turn signals of dirt and dust to ensure visibility.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers usually have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, which makes it more durable than conventional light bulbs.

Do I need special resistance for my indicators?

Yes, special resistances are necessary to ensure the correct flashing frequency, since LED blinkers consume less electricity than conventional indicators.
