The CÚPULA RACING from PUIG is a high-quality accessory for the YAMAHA YZF-R1 model, developed for years of manufacture from 2008. This special windscreen is designed to improve the aerodynamics of the motorcycle and protect the rider from wind and weather.

The CÚPULA RACING is made from 3mm thick, high-impact acrylic and features rounded edges of more than 2mm, which meets the requirements of German TÜV standards. This construction not only offers increased resistance, but also longer durability.

This accessory is available in two variants: Z-Racing and R-Racer. Both models were specifically developed to optimize the aerodynamic properties of the motorcycle and effectively protect the rider from air currents.

• Z Racing: Tested in the wind tunnel, this model improves the aerodynamic coefficient and offers 12.7% improved wind resistance in the upright position and 61% in the racing position compared to the original model.
• R Racer: Also wind tunnel tested and developed in collaboration with world championship racing teams, it offers a perfect balance between protection and aerodynamics.

The assembly of the CÚPULA RACING does not require rivets and comes with a detailed aerodynamic study to ensure the best possible performance. Customers should check whether the product is homologated by the KBA (Federal Motor Transport Authority) and whether this homologation is recorded in the documents.
