The CÚPULA RACING from PUIG is a high-quality accessory for the YAMAHA brand YZF-R125 motorcycle model from 2018 onwards. This specially developed motorcycle part improves aerodynamics and increases riding comfort by effectively reducing air resistance.

Product details and specifications

The CÚPULA RACING is made from 3mm thick, high-impact acrylic. The edges of the pane are rounded to at least 2 mm to meet TÜV safety regulations. These features guarantee both durability and reliability under various driving conditions.

The double height design significantly reduces airflow over the rider's helmet, resulting in a noticeable reduction in air pressure, improving riding comfort over longer distances.

Model options and aerodynamic efficiency

The CÚPULA RACING is available in two variants: Z-Racing and R-Racer. Both models underwent extensive wind tunnel testing to optimize their aerodynamic properties. The Z-Racing model improves the aerodynamic coefficient and offers 12.7% improved protection in the upright position and up to 61% in the racing position compared to the standard model.

The R-Racer variant was developed in collaboration with world championship teams from the SBK and Endurance sectors to ensure optimal protection and aerodynamic balance.

Assembly and approval

• The assembly of the CÚPULA RACING does not require rivet connections.
• It is recommended that the approval be checked by the KBA (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt) to ensure conformity with German regulations.
