Yamaha YZF 750 [1993-1995] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha YZF 750 motorcycle model from 1993 to 1995. This accessory enables a safe and stable attachment of a tank bag directly to the machine's fuel tank.

Properties of tankring basic

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is attached to the tank shape and the handlebar attack on the tank bag. Even with assembled tanking, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

• The tanking ensures a secure hold, even at high driving speeds.
• The assembly takes place through a simple mechanical lock.
• Hepco & Becker's tank bag is placed on the tanking and is audible.
• To remove the tank bag, the unlocking mechanism, which is located at the front of the backpack, is operated.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed approx. 3 kg.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but they differ in the type of components mounted on the ring.

In addition, it should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa, since the systems are not compatible.
