Yamaha TRACER 7 GT /Y-AMT [2025-] - TANKRING BASIC

The TANKRING BASIC from HEPCO & BECKER for the Yamaha TRACER 7 GT model from 2025 offers a reliable and user-friendly solution for attaching a tank bag. This specially developed tank ring allows the tank cap to be opened easily even when the ring is installed and ensures that the backpack is securely anchored to the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery of this product includes the TANKRING BASIC as well as an adjustable counter-holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. This system is specifically designed for the Yamaha TRACER 7 / GT / Y-AMT from model year 2026.

Features and functions

• Secure hold of the tank bag, even at high speeds
• Mechanical locking allows for easy operation
• Place the Hepco & Becker tank bag on the tank ring and audibly click it into place
• Unlocking is done by operating a belt in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents required in Germany
• Recommended maximum speed with tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended load: up to approx. 3 kg
• Observation of the manufacturer's instructions and model-specific instructions is required

Differences from other systems: The TANKRING BASIC has a purely mechanical locking, in contrast to the Lock-it tank rings, which are also equipped with magnets for centering. However, both systems use the same model-specific metal ring.

Further information: Tank bags with Lock-it counterholders are not compatible with the BASIC tank ring and vice versa. It is important that the tank bag counterholder and tank ring come from the same system.
