Overview of the Tankring Basic for Yamaha for 1000

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Yamaha for 1000 years 1989 to 1990 models. This accessory is used to secure a compatible tank bag on the machine.

The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with fueling fueling, which makes use much easier. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar on the tank bag.

Comparison between basic and lock-IT fenkringen

The basic tanking works purely mechanically and thus differs from the lock-it tankingen, which are also equipped with magnets for centering. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It is important that tank bag and tanking must be compatible. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa.
