The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Triumph Daytona 955 I models from the construction years 1999 to 2001. This component serves to attach a compatible tank bag directly on the motorcycle tank.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The set includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder. The counter holder can be installed on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handle of the handlebar, which enables flexible adjustment. Even with assembled tanking, access to the tank cover remains without restriction.

Compatibility and operation

The tank bag is fastened by simply putting on the tanking, with a mechanical locking ensures a secure hold. The unlocking of the backpack is activated by a tensile mechanism on the front of the tank bag, which enables quick weight loss.

• The tanking ensures stable fixation of the tank bag, even at higher speeds.
• The maximum recommended speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of locking elements.

Further information: A tank bag with Lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
