Suzuki SV 650 [1999-2002] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Suzuki SV 650 motorcycle model from 1999 to 2002. This product enables a safe and stable assembly of a tank bag on the machine.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and a customizable counter holder, which is installed on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which the use considerably simplifies.

Characteristics of the tanking basic

• Stable stop even at higher speeds
• Mechanical locking enables easy operation
• Hepco & Becker's tank bag is put on and locked.
• Unlocking is done by a belt on the front part of the tank bag in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany required
• Recommended top speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Maximum recommended payload: approx. 3 kg
• Consideration of the manufacturers of the motorcycle and specific product instructions are necessary

The tanking basic differs from the lock-it system primarily by the type of locking. While the Basic tanking mechanically locked, additional magnets support the centering of the tank bag on the Lock-IT system.

It should also be noted that tank bags with Lock-IT counter holder are not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that both components, the counter holder and the tanking, belong to the same system.
