The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Suzuki GSX 750 F models from 2003 to 2006. This product offers a solid basis for the assembly of tank bags from the same manufacturer.

Product details

The scope of delivery of this set includes the tanking basic, which enables adjustable attachment of the tank bag. The counter holder contained in the set can be installed depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar on the tank bag. The construction of the tanking allows the fuel cap to open the fuel cap even without any problems.

Functions and security

• The tanking ensures a secure hold, even at high speeds.
• The tank bag is simply assembled by a mechanical locking, which signals a clearly audible snapping when putting on.
• The unlocking of the backpack is triggered by a front belt on the tank bag, which can easily be removed.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

Differences to other models

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both models use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further important information: A tank pack that was designed for the lock-IT system is not compatible with basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that the tank sac counter -counter and the tanking come from the same system.
