The Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic was specially developed for the Suzuki GSF 1200/s bandit of the year of construction 2006. This product enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery of this set is the tanking and a customizable counter holder that is tailored to the specific tank shape and the motorcycle handlebar. The fuel lid also remains fully accessible with assembled tanking, which is considerably simplified.

The tank bag is installed by simply putting on the tanking, with a mechanical locking ensures a clearly audible backup. To remove the tank bag, the unlocking mechanism, which is located at the front of the tank backpack, is operated.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for the centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the screwed -up components on the tanking.

It is important to note that tank bags and tankers must be compatible and should come from the same system to ensure a correct function.
