Product description: Tanking Basic for Suzuki GSX 1400

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Suzuki GSX 1400 from the construction years 2001 to 2004. This product enables a safe and easy assembly of a corresponding tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

Product details

The package includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder, which can be installed on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with fueling fueling, which ensures additional comfort when using it.

Assembly and compatibility

The assembly of the tanking is uncomplicated and only requires the combination with a tank bag for the motorcycle model mentioned. Information on compatibility and assembly can be viewed in the "My Bike" database or checked manually using the checklist in the shop.

Characteristics of tankring basic

  • Safe stop, even at high speeds
  • The operation is carried out by a mechanical locking
  • Easy to put on the tank backpack and grind the audible
  • Unlocking by pressing a belt on the tank bag
  • No ABE or entry in Germany required
  • Recommended top speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
  • Recommended payload: approx. 3 kg
  • Consideration of the manufacturer's information and specific instructions is recommended

Differences to other tankingen

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it tanking by the type of locking, which takes place purely mechanically without the support of magnets. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information

It is important to note that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa.
