Made from 8mm thick HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), this engine guard offers an impressive combination of durability and flexibility. The material is lighter compared to traditional alloys and stainless steel and absorbs impacts more effectively without deforming. Another advantage of HDPE is the sound insulation that occurs when stones or foreign objects hit the panel. This not only improves the comfort when driving, but also the longevity of the protection.

With a total weight of just 2.7 kg including all mounting parts, this engine guard is one of the lightest on the market. It was developed specifically for the BMW R1250GS and R1250GSA and is fully compatible with the BMW OEM crash bars and center stand.
