Installation of the carrier requires one of the following adapter plates, which are not included: MONOKEY plate M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A, M9B or MONOLOCK plate M5M and M6M. Alternatively, the EX2M luggage rack made of anodized aluminum can also be used. When using plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B, it is not technically possible to install additional brake lights or a remote control.

The maximum payload varies depending on the plate selected: When using a MONOKEY plate it is 10 kg, while for the M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B plates the payload is limited to 6 kg. For MONOLOCK systems the maximum payload is 3 kg.

GIVI products are specifically designed for vehicles in their original condition. Compatibility with accessories from other manufacturers, such as various exhaust systems, cannot therefore be guaranteed.
