This product from Hepco & Becker is used to attach tank bags especially for the motorcycle model Kawasaki ZXR 750, suitable for the years 1991 to 1994. The tanking basic enables safe and stable attachment of the tank bag without hindering the use of the tank cover.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar's handlebar.

Technical details and assembly

The tanking is characterized by simple handling. The assembly is carried out by a mechanical locking, which ensures a fixed seat even at higher speeds. The tank bag is placed on the ring and is very audible. To remove the backpack, the unlocking mechanism, which is located at the front of the backpack, is operated.

The tanking basic differs from the Lock-IT model primarily by the type of locking. While the basic tanking works purely mechanically, the Lock-IT Model Magnets supports the centering of the backpack. However, both models use the same model -specific metal ring.

In addition, it should be noted that tank bags and counterholder must be compatible and cannot be exchanged between the Basic and Lock-IT systems.
