The GIVI top case carrier was developed specifically for the Honda CB 1000 R models built between 2018 and 2025. It enables the installation of Monokey or Monolock cases, which provide additional storage space on the motorcycle.

The carrier can be mounted using various plates that are not included in the scope of delivery. The M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B plates are intended for Monokey cases, while the M5M and M6M plates and the EX2M luggage rack made of anodized aluminum can be used for Monolock cases.

Note: When using plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B, it is not possible to mount additional brake lights or a remote control.

Maximum payload

• Monokey case: up to 10 kg, with plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B the payload is reduced to 6 kg.
• Monolock case: up to 3 kg.
