Product description: Tanking Basic for Kawasaki ZX-6R

This tanking basic from Hepco & Becker has been specially developed for the motorcycle model Kawasaki ZX-6R in the construction years 2019 to 2020. The product enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly on the motorcycle tank.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder that is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar impact on the tank bag. This allows the fuel lid to be opened even when tanking is attached without restrictions.

The tanking and the corresponding tank bag for the Kawasaki ZX-6R are the only required components for assembly. Information on model-specific tankingen can be found in the "Mein Bike" database or via the checklist in the online shop under the category "Tankring Basic".

Difference between lock-it and basic tankingen

Both tanker types basically work equally, but the locking is purely mechanically at the basic tanking, without support from magnets that contribute to the centering of the lock-it tankers. The main difference consists in the components assembled on the tanking-magnets on the lock-IT and plastic at Basic. The basic metal ring is identical in both variants.

Further information

A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking ring and vice versa. It is important that counter holder and tanking come from the same system.
