Kawasaki Zephyr 750 [1991-2003] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Kawasaki Zephyr 750, models from 1991 to 2003. This motorcycle accessories are characterized by its functionality and simple handling and is used to attach a tank bag directly to the motorcycle tank.

The scope of delivery of this product includes the tanking basic, which is delivered together with a corresponding counterholder. Depending on the tank shape and handlebar, this can be installed on the tank bag. The fuel cap remains completely accessible with mounted tanking, which ensures uncomplicated handling.

Technical details and assembly

The tanking enables safe and firm assembly of the tank bag. Due to a mechanical lock, the backpack is securely attached to the motorcycle and can be quickly resolved by a simple mechanism that is attached to the front of the backpack. No further conversions on the motorcycle are necessary for assembly, and there is no need for entry in the vehicle documents in Germany.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it system by the type of locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the basic model. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag with a lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank bags and tanking come from the same system.
