The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Kawasaki GTR 1000 1986 to 2003 construction years. This product enables the brand Hepco & Becker brand to be secure and easy to attach.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebars. The installation of the tanking does not affect the function of the fuel cap, which can be opened without any problems even when the ring is installed.

Operation and security

The tanking ensures a firm hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds. The backpack is installed by simply putting on the ring and is securely locked by a clear click noise. The unlocking takes place by pressing a belt on the tank bag, which is attached in the direction of travel, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed.

Comparison: Basic and Lock-IT fenuso

Although the basic functions remain the same, the basic tanking differs with its purely mechanical locking from the lock-IT model, which also uses magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but the screwed -down components vary.

Further important information: A tank bag with Lock-IT System is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa. The systems are not interchangeable.
