The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Kawasaki GPZ 1000 RX of the construction years 1986-1987. This accessories are used to secure the Hepco & Becker brand.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder. The counter holder can be installed on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. The installation also enables unhindered access to the tank cover.

• Stable hold of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds
• The lock is mechanically and can be seen by a clear clicking noise
• The tank bag is unlocked via a belt on the front part of the backpack in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany required
• Maximum recommended speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum payload: approx. 3 kg

Differentiation to other models

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it tanking by the type of locking. While the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking is based exclusively on a mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag with Lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
