The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic for the Kawasaki Versys 650, compatible for the models of the construction years 2015 to 2021, significantly simplifies the assembly of a tank bag. This system consists of a tanking and a customizable counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and the handlebar.

The assembly of the tanking does not affect the function of the fuel cap, which can be opened without any problems even when the ring is attached. For the installation, only the tanking and a specific tank bag for the aforementioned motorcycle model are required.

The "Mein Bike" database on the manufacturer's website provides information on model -specific tankingen. If no specific tanking is available, you can also check whether a universal tanking fits.

Differences between lock-it and basic tankingen:

Both tanker types work similarly, but the basic tanking only uses a mechanical lock, while the lock-IT tanking also works with magnets for centering. The difference lies in the magnetic or plastic elements mounted on the tanking ring, while the actual metal ring is identical in both variants.

Further information: A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa. It is necessary that tanking and counter holder belong to the same system.
