The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which ensures uncomplicated handling.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it fueling system primarily by the type of locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the basic model. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: tank bags and counterholder must be compatible and come from the same system to function correctly. A lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with a basic tankring and vice versa.
