How the cruise control speed stabilizer works

The heart of the system is a sophisticated friction nut that is firmly connected to a special KAOKO™ bar end weight. Installation is simple and usually only requires removing the original bar end weight and attaching the KAOKO stabilization kit.

To activate the cruise control, the driver must pinch the friction nut between the little finger and the palm of the hand while driving. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to hold the throttle in the desired position. The friction is designed so that the rider can still open and close the throttle, although with a slight resistance.

To disable the feature, the reverse process is used. The friction nut is loosened by pinching it again between the pinky and palm and releasing the throttle grip so that it can snap freely.
