This top case carrier from GIVI, specially developed for the Honda VFR 800 from 2021 to 2024, allows the attachment of both Monokey and Monolock cases. The carrier is compatible with various adapter plates, which enable flexible use of different case systems.

Assembly and Compatibility

The carrier can be mounted with the Monokey plates M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B as well as the Monolock plates M5M and M6M. Installation on a luggage rack made of anodized aluminum (EX2M) is also possible. However, when using plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B, please note that the installation of brake lights or a remote control is excluded. To install, the motorcycle's original grab handle must be removed.

Load limits

The maximum load varies depending on the plate and case type selected. For Monokey cases the maximum load is generally 10 kg, but is reduced to 6 kg if the M8A, M8B, M9A or M9B plates are used. For Monolock cases the limit is 3 kg.

The GIVI products are specifically designed for motorcycles in their original condition. A guarantee for compatibility with accessories from other manufacturers cannot therefore be given.
