The GIVI TanklockED tank bag for the CB1000 R model, built between 2008 and 2017, is characterized by its robust material and well-thought-out functions. The main material is thermoformed EVA covered with 600D polyester and PU. This construction provides UV resistance in accordance with the ISO 4892-2:2013 standard, which includes 500 hours of exposure in a Q-Sun Xenon test chamber. In addition, all materials used meet the REACH regulations.

The innovative TanklockED mechanism allows the backpack to be easily and securely attached to the motorcycle tank using a special tank ring (not included). An integrated security lock protects the backpack from theft without the need for a key to attach or remove the backpack from the tank. A key is only required to secure the backpack when the motorcycle is unattended. This lock is compatible with the security locks of the GIVI top cases and side cases.
