2.1 The heart-M-Unit Blue & M-Unit Basic

The M-unit is a digital control unit that replaces the fuse box, relay and flashing gear. A whopping 20 amps per output, 10 integrated fuses and short-circuit self-diagnosis via LED matrix make the module a control center. The M-switch replaced chunky OEM switches. CNC body, two or three buttons per side, RGB backlight. In combination with M-unit a single 2-core line is enough in the handlebar (M-button), since signals are digitally serialized.

  3. Light & turn signal: M-Blaze bar with M6 expansion loft, cable through handlebar, soldering connection with FECR 0.5 mm.
  4. Tacho: M-Outos Classic-holder to upper fork bridge, GPS antenna under headlights, speed sensor on the brake disc (magnet).
  5. App setup: M.Ride on iOS/Android, firmware update, input-Config: momentary Button.
  6. TÜV check: §19 (2) ABE, E-number visible on turn signals, adhere to low beam 52 cm minimum height.

4 | Practical experience - workshop protocol motorize.de

In over 200 conversions, from 350 cc enduro scrambler to 1,400 cm³ Turbo-Hayabusa, we have collected the following learning:
