This tanking basic from Hepco & Becker is specially designed for the Ducati Multistrada 1260, built in 2018 to 2020. It serves the safe and easy attachment of a tank bag on the machine. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder that is mounted on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar.

The assembly of the tankring does not affect the function of the fuel cap, which can be easily opened even when tanking is attached. To install the system you only need this tanking and a compatible tank bag for the mentioned model years of the Ducati Multistrada 1260.

Information on the compatibility of the tanking with specific motorcycle models can be found in the manufacturer's "My Bike" database. There is also a manual checking option in the online shop under the "Tankring Basic" category if the model should not be listed.

The basic tanking works purely mechanically and thus differs from the lock-it fueling, which also works with magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, while the attachments differ on the ring.

It is important that tank bags and tanking come from the same system, otherwise they are not compatible.
