The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 models from the construction years 2010 to 2014. It enables a safe and easy attachment of tank bags from the same manufacturer. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is adapted and assembled to the tank bag. The construction of the tankring allows the tank cover to be opened without any problems even with the ring mounted.

Technical details and assembly

The tanking relies on a mechanical lock that guarantees simple handling and a secure hold. The tank bag is easy to put on and locked itself audibly. To remove the backpack, the unlocking mechanism, a belt on the front part of the backpack, is operated. The system does not require a general operating license (ABE) in Germany or an entry in the vehicle documents.
