Ducati Monster M 900 [1992-1999] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic for the Ducati Monster M 900 motorcycle model, built in 1992 to 1999, offers a practical solution for attaching tank bags. This specially developed tanking enables safe and easy installation of the tank bag on your motorcycle.

Overview

The tanking basic set is included in the delivery of the tanking basic set. This counter holder is mounted on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebars. The tank lid remains fully accessible even when tanking is attached, which makes it easier to use.

Characteristics of the tanking basic

• Stable hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds
• Mechanical locking makes it easier to operate
• The tank bag can be easily assembled by putting on the tankers and securely locked by an audible click
• Unlocking takes place by a belt on the tank bag, which is pulled in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany required
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum payload: approx. 3 kg

Differences between lock-it and basic tankingen: Both systems work similarly, but the basic tanking uses a purely mechanical locking, while the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering. The basic structure of both tankers remains the same.

Further information: A tank bag with a lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with a basic tanking ring and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
