The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the BMW R 1200 RS models from the construction years 2015 to 2018 and offers a robust fastening solution for tank sacks of the same brand.

General information

This product consists of a tanking and a customizable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which ensures uncomplicated handling.

Assembly and compatibility

The tanking can be easily attached to the motorcycle and is only compatible with tank bags for the BMW R 1200 RS (2015-2018), which are also offered by Hepco & Becker. The "Mein Bike" database on the manufacturer's side contains specific information on model -friendly tankingen. If no specific tanking is available, the manufacturer offers a checklist to determine suitable universal tankrings.

Additional information

The basic tanking works purely mechanically and thus differs from the lock-it fueling, which also uses magnets for centering. Systems are not compatible with each other; Tank sac countertakers and tanking must be of the same type.
