The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the motorcycle model BMW M 1000 XR of the construction years 2024 to 2025. This accessory is used to secure and stable attach a tank bag on the machine.

Product details and installation

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tanking basic contains a suitable counter holder, which is installed depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar on the tank bag. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which the use considerably simplifies.

• Stable hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds
• Mechanical locking for simple handling
• The Hepco & Becker tank sack on the tanking takes place with a clearly audible snapping
• Unlocking the backpack through a front belt on the tank bag in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany required
• Maximum recommended speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum weight for the tank backpack: about 3 kg
• Consideration of the manufacturer's information of the motorcycle and specific product instructions are required

Differences to other tankers:
The basic tanking ensures mechanically, while the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for the centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the screwed -up components of the ring.

Further information:
Tank sack counterfeiters and tanking must be of the same system to ensure compatibility. A change between the systems Lock-IT and Basic is not possible.
