The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic for the BMW K 1200 S motorcycle model, construction years 2004 to 2008, offers a practical solution for attaching a tank bag. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and a customizable counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar.

The installation of the tanking does not affect the function of the fuel cap, which can be easily opened even when fueling is installed. Only the specific tanking and a compatible tank bag are required for use.

Differences between basic and lock-IT fenkringen

The basic tanking has a purely mechanical locking, while the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering. However, both models use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag with Lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking and vice versa. It is important to ensure that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
