The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the BMW F 650 GS T from the construction years 2008 to 2018. This accessories are used to secure tank bags from the same manufacturer and enables easy handling through its mechanical locking. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with fueling fueling, which ensures additional comfort.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder, which is installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebars on the tank bag.

Differences to other tankers: Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model-specific metal ring, but differ in the screwed-up components (magnets at Lock-IT, plastic at Basic).

Further information: A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
