The Hepco & Becker tanking basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model BMW R 1200 GS Adventure and compatible with the construction years 2006 to 2013. This accessory enables a safe and practical attachment of a corresponding tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Technical details and scope of delivery

The scope of delivery of the product includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder, which can be mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. The assembly of the tanking does not affect the accessibility of the tank cover, which can be opened without any problems even if the ring is attached.

Differences to other tanking models

In contrast to the Lock-IT fenkring, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both models use the same model -specific metal ring.
