Product description: Tanking Basic for BMW R 1150 R

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the BMW R 1150 R motorcycle model and covers the years of construction 2000 to 2006. This product enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag on the machine.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder that is attached to the tank bag according to the tank shape and the handlebar. Even with assembled tanking, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

The tank bag is assembled by simply putting on the tanking and is confirmed by an audible click. The disassembly is initiated by pressing a belt on the front part of the tank bag, which can easily be removed.

Comparison between Basic and Lock-IT fenkringen:

Both tanker types basically work the same, but the basic tanking uses a purely mechanical locking, while the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering. The "metal rings" used are identical to both variants.

Additional information:

A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with a basic tanking ring and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking are part of the same system.
