The mono shock absorber XXZB1 presents itself in a completely revised design. It offers four adjustment options for compression and rebound at low and high speeds, allowing the rider to customize the driving experience. The technical innovations improve the smoothness of the moving parts and optimize the damping coefficient, which leads to increased stability at high temperatures.

Particular attention has been paid to reducing moments of inertia to ensure immediate control of suspension vibrations. The innovative pneumatic spring preload, previously reserved only for official teams, is now available to everyone and offers precision and speed in adjustment.

Performance characteristics

The 14mm diameter piston rod provides improved smoothness, while the 30mm diameter separating piston reduces the mass of fluid being moved to allow for a quicker response to stress. The piston rod has a DLC coating that minimizes friction loss and increases sensitivity during suspension vibrations.
