The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Aprilia Tuono V4 R (construction years 2011-2014) and Tuono V4 1100 RR (construction years 2015-2020). This product enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features

• The tanking ensures a stable hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds.
• The tank bag is assembled by a mechanical lock, which ensures a clearly audible snapping when putting on.
• The unlocking mechanism is located on a belt of the tank bag and allows you to lose weight quickly after driving.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload of the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and a counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The tank cover remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of fastening elements on the tanking.

It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa, since the systems have to be compatible with each other.
