The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Cagiva Elefant 750 IE models, which were produced between 1993 and 1997. This product enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features

• The tanking ensures a stable hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds.
• A mechanical lock facilitates the handling and ensures safe locking of the backpack.
• The tank bag can be quickly released and removed by a simple mechanism that is attached to the front of the backpack.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for this system.

Installation and compatibility

The tanking is delivered together with a counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the fold of the handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with fueling fueling, which the use considerably simplifies.

Differences to other models

Compared to the Lock-IT tanking from Hepco & Becker, which also works with magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, which keeps the basic functions similar.
